Sensorless PMSM Control with Sliding Mode Observer Based on Sigmoid Function

It is impossible to install or apply position sensors appropriately in some special applications of PMSM. Sensorless PMSM control an appropriate choice solve problems the necessary acquire estimated precisely and avoid chattering phenomenon for sensorless control. This paper proposes algorithm estimating with sliding mode observer (SMO) based on sigmoid function, a sufficient condition that leads SMO into surface acquired using Lyapunov stabilization analysis. The outcome this study shows function can estimate high precision under different velocity load. However, needs be compensated according load, compensating value proportion current.
